On April 16, one of the most vibrant and dramatic masterpieces of the world opera repertoire — Georges Bizet’s Carmen — will be performed on the stage of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In the role of Don José, Italian tenor ALESSANDRO FANTONI, an artist of the European opera scene, will appear — a singer whose name is associated with impeccable vocal training, refined musical phrasing, and profound dramatic temperament.

A laureate of prestigious international competitions, including the renowned “Una voce per l’Arena”, he consistently confirms his status as a high-level performer.
