Constitutional Reforms: Modernization of the State System and Legal Culture
An information meeting was held with the staff at the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater regarding the key changes and reforms implemented in Kazakhstan following the constitutional referendum.
The meeting covered the modernization of the state system, the strengthening of the roles of Parliament and local self-government, the establishment of the Constitutional Court, and the expansion of mechanisms for protecting citizens’ rights. Participants also discussed the development of transparency principles, public oversight, and the “Listening State” concept.
Special emphasis was placed on legal culture, professional ethics, compliance, and the accountability of state institutions to society. The vital role of the cultural sector in shaping public consciousness and fostering respect for the law and national values was also highlighted.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the country’s further development is directly linked to the professionalism, responsibility, and active civic engagement of every citizen, as well as the preservation of stability, unity, and respect for the law.
