A Phoniatrist’s Office Opens at the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre for World Voice Day

April 16 is World Voice Day — a celebration of the voice, the most refined and unique instrument bestowed upon humankind. The voice has the power to convey emotion, inspire, touch the soul, and unite hearts.

On this special day, a phoniatrist’s office opened at the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre, equipped with advanced medical technology — a stroboscope and an endoscope. This marks an important step in the development of professional vocal care: our artists now have even greater access to timely treatment, prevention, and attentive care for their most essential instrument.

We sincerely hope that the voices of our gifted singers will continue to triumph on the world’s leading stages. Even today, many of them are laureates of international competitions, and there is no doubt that many more brilliant victories and achievements lie ahead.
